What kind of organisation is Anvil Bureau suited to?

Organisations in Malaysia that are past the early startup phase and have day-to-day operating routines in place. Our work is most useful when there is an operating team running real workloads, and a specific friction point, coaching need, or routine that is not performing as well as it should.

How do we decide which engagement is right for us?

The initial conversation is the best way to work that out. We will ask what the operating challenge looks like in practice, and between the three engagements we should be able to identify a reasonable fit — or say honestly that none of them is the right tool for your situation.

How long does each engagement take?

The Operating Friction Diagnostic typically runs two to four weeks depending on the agreed scope. The Function Lead Coaching Cycle is usually spread over six to eight weeks. The Operating Lift Sprint depends on the routine being addressed but typically runs four to eight weeks alongside the team. We agree the timeline upfront.

Are the fees fixed or do they change during the engagement?

The fees listed on this site are fixed for each engagement as described. If the scope of work changes materially from what was agreed at the outset, we discuss the implications before proceeding — not after delivery.

How is the information we share treated?

We treat operational detail shared during an engagement as confidential. We do not pass information to third parties, and we do not reference client operations in any external materials without explicit permission. A straightforward confidentiality agreement is standard for all engagements.

Can we run more than one engagement at the same time?

In practice it is often more useful to run them in sequence — finish the diagnostic, then use the findings to shape which coaching or lift work makes sense next. That said, if the scope is clearly separate, parallel engagements are possible. We discuss capacity and sequencing honestly at the start.
